It appears that Braveheart, one of the formerly feral kittens that Steph stole, is epileptic. His first seizure happened late October right after we came back from the vet. We rushed him right back, they did some bloodwork, and the only odd thing they saw was low potassium levels. He's been getting vitamins almost daily since. The second seizure ( Read more... )

I went to bed a little after 10pm last night. I awoke around 1:45 am or so from a troublesome dream. The cats were sleeping at my feet and on my legs. We went up to Black Rock Mountain today and hiked a 7.2 mile loop. It was a great drive up and back from north Georgia, had the windows down and the music turned up. Now for a shower, a little nap maybe, then making some artery clogging alfredo pasta with prosciutto and mushrooms. Lots of creme fraiche and melted parmesan and butter. Mmmmm.
