Boy does this child ever keep me busy and, now that I'm back to work, I'm twice as busy!

Right now, Raine is in her crib (supposed to be sleeping)...blowing kisses. I know this cause I can hear her saying, "MUAH!". LOL. I forgot to mention she can do that now. Its so cute. Currently, Raine is on an apparent hunger strike. I don't know if I should be concerned or if this is just part of toddlerhood. She's hardly eaten anything in the last few days and is even refusing her favourite foods. When she does decide to eat something, her portions are very, very small (and until recently, she could out-eat me!). I...don't... ( Read more... )

Raine's peed on the potty three times now...but, she'll only do it for Daddy. :( ho hum

I've finally got her to say "down"...now we just have to work on "off". (Instead of "on" meaning everything).

She'd said a couple other new words but, frankly I'm boiling and need to cool off on the balcony!

I finally did it! I got Raine out to a playgroup. I know I should've done it a long time ago...and I wanted to...but, something inside was holding me back... I seem to be afraid to go to public places on my own but, I'm trying to overcome it (as with a lot of things). It was bound to happen sometime... Raine learned how to say the word "No". She used to communicate "no" by shaking her head but, now its both...and if you don't respect her choice, its a very firm, "No!". Its actually pretty cute ( Read more... )

She did it again! She peed on the potty! Yaaaay! ^_^ Apparently, she'll only do it for Daddy. *sigh* We both use the same strategies... But, Daddy is special.  And even though we smile and encourage her, she seems to think she's done something bad... until stickers are provided... I dunno! WHOOT! Raine peed on the potty tonight! YAAAAAY *smiley faces all over the place*

{In not so good news, she had a nasty fall today which left her with a fat lip. We'll be keeping a close eye on her overnight!).

I have cancelled Raine's photobucket as I don't have time to update it often (and it takes too long with dial-up). It didn't seem like it was viewed much anyway.
