I'm so glad to hear from you - but I'm sorry to hear you were ill all summer. I hope your operation goes well and that it'll make it possible for the doctors to get a diagnosis.

As for the US elections I've kind of reached the point where it's better for me to keep some distance because it's not like I can do anything about any of it, so I might as well go the route of self-preservation & avoid seeing & hearing too much from one specific dirtbag while keeping some energy for our own upcoming elections, even though the general level of discussion promises not to reach much higher. And then there'll be Germany with its very own AfD & Pegida & refugees debate and *God* I'm already exhausted.

BUT apart from the world going to hell, I hope that you're doing okay, that your whisky was good and that you get to take care of yourself <3
