Let's see, I could make the regular fandom meme for the year, but instead of that because no gaming in that thing, I'm going to do a manual year in review.
Kim, I just had no idea what to reply to that), or a lot of "you didn't get it!
Well I am sorry for the long post. (unfortunately I can't help that). I wasn't trying to explain why you should like the show I was just explaining why I disagreed with your criticism. You replied to me and I replied back.
I definitely wouldn't say you didn't get it but I would say we interpreted things very differently. I honestly don't care that you don't like the shows I liked. I don't really like Kuragehime all that much & Level E while funny doesn't stay with me. But everyone can have a different opinion and we can't all like the same things all the time. :)
Rarity and Fluttershy are my favorite of the Ponies!
No, no, I'm not saying you're trying to convert me. I'm just discouraging anyone who might, because some fans can be obnoxious about their baby and I want them to stay out of my squee post. The thing is, the stuff you were saying (from what I got, which wasn't much) sounded more like a symbolist point of view and what confuses me in this show is what's a real event and what's a metaphor. Which... your theories/analysis don't really solve my couple of doubts, I'm sorry. I appreciate it, but I prefer to leave it at that and agree to disagree about the writing of this show. Guess this anime -and Utena in a lesser extend- wasn't meant for me.
I love Fluttershy too. I hope she gets a centric episode this season.
I'm sad that Nichijou didn't work for me, it sounded like my kind of alley but after three episodes I wasn't feeling it. I wanted to try Sket Dance in anime first in case it was like Gintama or Arakawa Under the Bridge (where IMO it's more charming/funny with animation and voices), but if that's the case I'll try the manga instead.
I wish I could remember what was the last manga chapter and anime episode of Gintama I read/watch. I really miss it. I do like how the Spanish edition of Glénat uses such gamberro language because it just fits, but since I'm kind of broke to buy manga and I don't want to read it online again... yeah. But I do like the anime a little more because the seiyuu are hilarious and some visual gags are just sillier with animation.
I also came out almost empty out of Madoka last year except for lulz and memes, incidentally.
No problem, the lulz and memes are the best part anyway. ;D
Yay for ponies! Rarity has really grown to be a favorite of mine, and she might even be fighting Pinkie for second place. :3 (My first favorite is Fluttershy~ ♥)
What is Ghost Trick and what system is it for? TELL ME MORE.
I still like a horrible person because none of the girls made me cry or I wasn't shipping anything tragic, not gonna lie.
LOL, Rarity and Fluttershy were tied for first in my case (and originally Rainbow Dash, but she's been awful this season). I feel like these days I'm digging Rarity more, and some days it's Fluttershy.
Sure thing! Ghost Trick is for Nintendo DS, and it's a graphic adventure by the creator of Ace Attorney. The main character is Sissel, a ghost with the ability to manipulate objects, who only has one night to figure out who he was in life and how he died. It's a more clever game than it seems.
While I do like the girls and ship the Big Two (aka Homura/Madoka and Kyouko/Sayaka), I'm mostly into PMMM for the witches/weird imagery/nightmare fuel/psychological study/deconstruction of the Magical Girl instead of the moe factor and constant angst and suffering. CLEARLY I'M DOING IT WRONG. I feel like the girls should've been developed better instead of being used as set-up pieces for MOAR DRAMAAAAA!!1!1! Geez, let them be happy for a millisecond instead of constantly mistrust another or prophesize doom and gloom 24/7. Balance plz. :o It doesn't help that my favorite character is Kyubey, which means that half the fandom wants to slit my throat. PMMM is NOT without its flaws, and people who go batshit if you don't treat it like it's the best and most revolutionary anime ever suck. :P

Actually, I think it's a really valid reason to watch it. I've checked stuff because of a premise, genre, or a plot element I like plenty of times, I think we've all done that. I've watched/read horrible stuff because of an idea

One good thing came out of the DC reboot, and that was Demon Knights. That might be the only thing, though, and it probably didn't need a reboot to exist, so.
