Well now, s'been a while since I used this gadget. Seems like there's been a lot of changes since I've last been here, too.

But anyway, was just wonderin' if anyone was still runnin' the tavern over here in Espoir. If not, looks like this old man's got some work ta do.

It's a strange place to say the least, but I'm surprised to see you asking.

Well looks like we're all stuck in this place together, so might as well keep tabs on each other.

You've been here before correct? So then you understand how this world works?

Mostly. Memory's a bit fuzzy on a few details, and things have changed quite a bit since I last remembered. [like how it's the middle of the summer when he left around later winter/early spring]

So it's possible to leave and return with memories in vague tact... that's quite interesting.

You mentioned the tavern as well, is that where you live here?

So it seems. I remember there bein' a few others like that, too.

Pretty much, yeah. Back in the old days, it was one of the better places and I didn't really feel like havin' ta walk outside to open shop. Probably used ta be some kind of small inn back in the day, too.
