I'm still looking for a job, though I did find a temp/ freelance job that kept me busy/ paid for most of March. It was with a design agency that needed help catching up on some work, but isn't quite busy enough to hire a new person full time. They could need me again, but at least for now it's done

How is your father doing?

Yeah, I got laid off several months ago, in late October. I would have thought I'd have found a new job by now, though I haven't really looked as hard as I could have with all that's happened since then.

My dad died the day after Christmas. We had a nice Thanksgiving with him, though his health had declined a lot by then he was still able to have some decent moments. But then things started going downhill fast around mid-December and by a couple days before Christmas, he'd lost consciousness and we knew it was only a matter of days.

I'm so incredibly sorry to hear about your father's passing. I hope redux has been a good form of support for you and that you're doing okay. I've been thinking about you and will continue to keep you in my thoughts. ♥
