So, I totally pulled a "Ferris Bueller" today and skipped work to hit the casino in Canada. Although I do feel a little bad for leaving all my clients hanging, I think I deserved a little break from life (maybe not, but I'm sticking to that story anyways). I kicked all of my dirty habits...well the harmful ones anyways. I'm growing out of my college smoking and drug use phase. It's so hard to be living so far away from home, especially  when something like this is happening. Now, more than ever, I wished I went to school in the city instead. That way I can still work on my degree and stay by my mother's side. I know that the doctors are working their hardest to help her, but I really wish, more than anything in this ( Read more... )
