I went into work yesterday and found out that they're reorganising the company, and my job has been made redundant.

I didn't see that coming. Not even a little bit.

It wasn't the best news I've ever had. I loved my job.

I've said it elsewhere and I'll repeat it here: wow, that sucks. That bites the wax tadpole. The only way that wouldn't suck is if it were a vacuum cleaner.

This is not about you. From what you've told me it sounds like noone except Victor got the real story. It sucks to be in that position... but it sucks more to be in your position.

Yes, they've been really nice about that. My boss has promised me a glowing reference, and to keep an eye out for any positions available.
