Congrats on the job Kara!! That is awesome news. I know how anxious you were. I am currently enjoying my one day off. Oh I meant to recommend an author to you earlier and had forgot to mention it. Will Ferguson- Happiness. It's entertaining, witty and funny. Right up your alley. I had to get my copy off Amazon, couldn't find it in any book stores. But it's excellent to put a smile on your face. Hope all continues to go well.

Take Care :)
Nicole

Thank you so much! Ive only worked one day so far but I think im really going to like it. I will have to check that out for sure. Ive been trying to get back into the reading habit. Have you read anything by Christopher Moore? (I recommend the lust lizard of melancholy cove or the island of the sequined love nun)He is hilarious and very clever. I also really love Elizabeth Berg (open house, what we keep, etc.)she understands human emotion like no other :)

Hey there! ( again! ) Thank you for the great suggestions. I never have enough reading-friendly people around me to give me any advice on new authors. So it is refreshing :) And yes of course I meant you in my journal entry! You remind me of that character because no matter what kind of emotional spiral she finds herself swimming in, she always comes out strong and on top. By the end of the book I was in tears. It was so moving. She was a beautiful character throughout the entire novel. Dear to my heart for sure.
I am glad you loved the book as well!!

Yeah I have tons I can recommend :) I hear you though. My girlfriend throws a fit if i ask her to read me the captions on tv lol. I loved that book. I used to think she was a dumb character because she allowed herself to be so vulnerable and get hurt so much but now I realize it takes a special person to know the pain and still be open to getting hurt again and survive. Thank you for always knowing my heart.
