Bisexuality

I hate that term. It's so limiting. The prefix "bi" limits the total sexual arrangements to two possibilities. This implies that there are only two choices, gay or straight, and bisexuality is a mere midway stop between the two accepted choices ( Read more... )

I know what you mean. I'm attacted to both men a women, and have had relationships with both men and women. I hate the common misconception that bisexual means non-monogamous. Or that Bi guy is icky but Bi girl is hot, so long as guys can watch. I think American society is really messed up when it comes to sexuality ( ... )

Didn't think anybody read anymore, so thanks for the response. I agree with you. Female same sex is okay, so long as it's for a male audience. And then male bisexuals get all this flack. It's like even if their bi, it's as bad as being gay. Which I don't understand. Most people are fluid in their sexuality. It doesn't mean anything bad, to be attracted to someone, no matter their gender.

I wholeheartedly agree. I've also hated the term, but, yes, other terms like "polysexual" or "omnisexual" are also problematic. I just say queer, and let people ask questions later if they're so inclined.
