Finally joined the Covid Club

One day after US President Biden announced that the Covid pandemic was over, I self-tested positive for the virus.  It was late at night; the first test of a two-night test; I tested positive the second time too.

So far, I think I have a mild case; possibly due to the vaccination and boosters I've had.  My medical team sent a nice young paramedic ( Read more... )

I'm so glad you checked in, and I hope your symptoms continue to be on the mild side. It's so easy to begin to forget about Covid... until it sneaks into our lives again.

I meet many people (because of my job), and sometimes i wonder if i was positive, but without simptoms. I mean, I really meet *many* people, and it seems improbable that i wasn't in contact with virus.

Before last week, I would have agreed with you. Now, I think you would have known that something was off - the muscular weakness was obvious the first night, much more than the fever (which was a complete surprise and went away quickly).

I'm feeling much better, thanks! Knees are working again!
