i absolutely agree! they did a fantastic job with the design -- have you seen the earlier trailer? if not, search for project trico, you'll see they redesigned both the puppygriffin and the boy =)
ohoho, totally noticed the ruggedness! i'm hoping this time around, we'll be able to change faces a bit more than just using standard ones =) i.e. add facial hair, wrinkles, etc!
I think The Last Guardian will be worth buying a PS3 for I'm so glad I have one T3T
I'm pretty excited for FF14 too I love how it looks, even more than FF13 hahaha I want to play it even though I never tried FF11, it'll be good to play an MMORPG again xD

his work is fantastic, i absolutely love his designs and just his overall aesthetic. i can't really stand nomura's stuff anymore to be honest. i want more fantasy in my final fantasy and less hi-tech stuff. argh! i also regret never getting vagrant story... i kept putting it off until one day, i've missed out on it at the stores. *sigh*
as for final fantasy xi online, i liked it! it did get really tough for people who can't afford to play hours upon hours a day, and the player economy did get insane, but overall i had fun =)
great news though, apparently this time around final fantasy xiv will cater to not only hardcore players who can play a lot during the day, but also to those who just want to pick up the game, play for 40 minutes or so and just have fun! i'm glad they're trying to go for a more broader audience as well as making it easier to pick up and play

final fantasy viii definitely is a love-it or hate-it game for a lot of people hehe, i did enjoy the school setting [especially the huge battle between the soldiers and the students!]. the cast were okay to me, i really liked quistis, zell and fuujin and raijin =)
and ah man, if only i could spare some coin at the moment ;_; i kept thinking copies of the game would be there for a ridiculous amount. cool, i'll keep an eye on auctions, thanks!
and yeah! i was surprised to see that trailer; i remember all the theories and speculations concerning the mask days before e3 haha. the voice acting talent they have lined up for that game is INSANE! i'm definitely looking forward to what kojima productions has in store for castlevania.
and cool, i'm planning on renting that soon =) i wish i had preordered it so i could play the uncharted ii multiplayer beta... d'oh!
