It's actually a good thing - I was starting to feel guilty for generalizing about M.F.A. workshop fiction. Phrases describing blood as 'ketchup randomness' justify my further arseholery ;P

Esquire now only publishes 'event' fiction. This is a fucking 'event' alright. In Franco's defense, everyone wrote crappy student fiction; not everyone had it published by a mag reduced to journalistic starfucking.
