As the subject line says I became an aunt today. My younger sister Jackie had her daughter Haley today at  4:10 p.m. She's around 7 pounds (I can't remember exactly how many ounces) and is 22 inches. Jackie unfortunately had to have a c-section but other than that she's doing well as of when my mom called me a few hours ago. I wish I could be down ( Read more... )

Wow it's been a while since I've written a post. It's been a fairly uneventful month as far as things going on. I've started to get busier at work. We finally have a city editor hired and he started two weeks ago. He seems like someone I'll learn a lot from. We have a photographer hired now too, but she won't be on full time until late February/ ( Read more... )

Again it's been a little while since my last post. Unfortunately today I'm not feeling too well. My throat is killing me, my body feels sort of achy and I didn't sleep well last night.
