I was frantically getting all the last details ready for my wedding the next day. I can't believe it's been 14 years, but sometimes that doesn't really seem like a long time. Way to make marriage sound about as fun as graduate school in physics. How come married people always descibe marriage as work and hard and not fun?

But Happy Anniversary! That really is exciting. My parents are celebrating 30 years next month.

I agree with a lot of what you say. Marriage is a commitment, and you should stick with your partner for 'better or worse.'
My parents never got married but they've been together for at least 25 years (not sure really) and they've lasted through a lot. I'm glad you have too! Happy Anniversary again!
