My dad read me Out of the Silent Planet and I loved it. Then he read me Perelandra and I couldn't get through a chapter without falling asleep.

I was very young, but I'm just saying that they're very different kinds of books.

personally I thought that thunderstorm really sucked balls to be trying to drive through up to duluth.
so I went up there, but when I found out I have no work responsibilities until sunday night I went back home with my parents. but my mom has to go back up for something at the decc tomorrow so tomorrow I shall return and with the hopes that the power and water has been turned on, actually begin to live in my house. which, by the way, kind of sucks. it's...something. I think I need moral support on the whole living in crappy accomodation thing.
anyways, where the three yoots live, and how can I reach you?

also, I would like to recommend the time traveler's wife as a really good read if you need a break from your cs lewis.

Heather--
I remembered to write you an email shortly after I'd promised it... however the system wasn't working when I sent it and I henceforth absolutely forgot!!
What's with the living situation?? Ours is decent, so if you ever want to get away, I'd recommend a vacation to our living room.
Our number here is 727-1716. Feel free to call and commiserate, or heck, even come hang out!!
I've missed you, dear Heather.
