The opening ceremony for the Olympics this year were absolutely phenomenal. I realize that they are not over yet, but they are phenomenal no matter what comes next. Later host countries are going to have a heck of a time topping this ceremony. Wow.

was wrong. There are some very traditional women in that country who think that shaving is something terrible. Consequently, in that group of athletes, there was at least one woman with hairy pits, showcasing them to the world.

I happened to check today to see if they got my address correct this time around for the phone book, and they didn't. It's true that I don't put much stock in Bowl Games, there's just too much time between the end of the season and the games themselves, but it was still nice to see Michigan kick Florida's butt. I don't know why, but that's been stuck in my head for a while now. One of my teachers used to say that, and she'd quote other parts of the poem quite often, as well.
