Fic: Footsore

Summary: Lestrade takes care of Mycroft, whether he wants it or not
Rating: G
Type: Quiet and fluffy
Word Count: 2500

This is definitely a sequel to A Reliable Man, but I think it stands alone and you don't need to read Reliable to read this.  Just a little slice of life as two men get more comfortable with each other.

I am a bit of a sucker for that too. And after Mycroft's effort in Resolution I felt he deserved something.

Shhh, quiet, I'm Mycroft-hunting! XD

Oh just lovely, I got vicariously relaxed!(Though frankly imagining Lestrade's manly fingers massaging my back did unspeakable things to my...um, anatomy.)

A stark naked Mycroft and a fully clothed Lestrade laying together was surprising (or maybe not too much) HOT. I do so hope we get to see Mycroft's proper reaction to this!

LOVE and PUPPIES.

I was not thinking about Lestrade's hands when I wrote that, no, never.

I have no idea if I'll write a Mycroft's eye view or not. Or what his idea of reciprocation would be. Inspiration may strike, who knows.

I loved the first series, and I'm stupidly happy to see it continued. Thank you so much. I love this inside view of their lives instead of explosions and fire.

Glad you like the lighter stuff. I enjoyed writing about the relationship and how it might develop.

Yay for prickly fluff! weefreethings February 21 2011, 15:22:16 UTC
It's all the cuter that Mycroft has been getting his fluffiness lessons from a family of hedgehogs. A complete lack of conflict would mean no snarky Lestrade humor, and where would we be without that? Good fun!

Somehow I don't think "fluffiness" and "Mycroft" really belong together. "Dramatic scenes" and "elaborate set pieces" perhaps. And definitely "I"m in control and I say what goes". Picked the wrong partner for that...
