I had a pretty bad ass weekend! Jessica came to spend the weekend with me from Kalamazoo and arrived Friday evening. I had an amazing day yesterday. Dawn Cooke finished my half sleeve tattoo and it looks spectacular! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm! I made some with this whole wheat Buckwheat brand mix and they turned out so good! I haven't had time to cook or even get groceries since I returned from Chicago and the pancakes hit the spot! Vancouver was lots of fun. If you don't remember, I went solo on this trip which had its own positives and negatives. I flew in Saturday night and checked into my hotel around midnight and just wanted to fall asleep except I couldn't because there was a lame club on the first floor and I could hear the music loud and clear on my third floor room. I just landed a promotion at my job. They gave me a raise and that starts Monday, but I don't start the new job for two weeks which is way rad! I'm really stoked and I'm going to celebrate tonight!

I really don't like the holiday season anymore. I don't know when I stopped liking it, I think I slowly started disliking it since birth. Seems like I never get what I want for my birthday or Christmas, a family member goes crazy in some way shape or form and other bad things happen.
