The art of bagpipery seems to be a lost art in these days. Those few remaining masters are shunned for their work, instead of lauded as they once would have been. Many reasons could be given for their fall from grace. Or you could marry a bagpiper. And have to cook/eat haggis.

What exactly is haggis again? Some variety of organ, I know. Intestine is nasty, mostly because of the texture. Blood sausages aren't bad though...

i didn't try haggis. but i did have blood pudding, and it actually wasn't bad at all. kind of really good, surprisingly.

and macalester is filled with bagpipers. or at least has a bigger percentage than most schools, seeing as they're mascot is a fighting scot, and they offer free bagpiping lessons. maybe i'll take them up on it.
