Okay guys, so I went apartment viewing and I think I have it narrowed down to two places that I possibly want to apply for. Now I have to  make my decision within the next couple days, and both places have pros and cons - so I'm not sure which one to choose. SO PLEASE HELP ME OUT AND DECIDE WHAT WOULD BE BEST.

I WENT AGAINST THE GRAIN AND PICKED TEH FIRST ONE.

Because the second looked like it had a lot more cons to you than pros, I wouldn't want to live anywhere with crap security, especially when it's near a rough neighbourhood. Plus the first one sort of made no sense to me, if you don't have roommates, you don't need a roommate to pay your internet bill in half? IDK WHATEVER.

Also...it said Bob Dylan on it. But no mostly, it was the size of the cons list. NATURALLY, PICK WHICHEVER WILL MAKE YOU FEEL SAFEST AND LESS STRESSED ♥

I picked the first one. It seems... friendlier. That and the image on the second site of the apartments... dear god that's a lot of people in a building. That and I got major DORM!!! feelings from it as opposed to the first, which looked more homey and inviting.

Yeah, I picked the second. MOSTLY BECAUSE THE THOUGHT OF HAVING NO AC KILLS ME, but... depending on where you are, it might not be that bad (e.g., my dorms in Virginia had no AC, and I didn't really notice until the end of May).

Also because it just seems... a little bit better financially, which gets it major points. BUT if the neighborhood makes you uncomfortable (or if you think it will START to make you uncomfortable if you're there all the time), that's an important thing to consider.

The second one sounds something we have here called University Village. It's still a lot like dorm living. I wonder if it's affiliated with UoM?

ANYWAY, my real question: Did one speak to you more than another? Did you feel more comfortable or attached to one place more than the other?

THEN I CAN VOTE.

We actually have University Village! Though it was filled up already. But yeah this one is pretty similar to dorm stuff and it is affiliated with the UoM (thus having the FA deferment that lets me...not have to borrow money from people sflkdjfds )

UM I spoke to them about the same amount, though with the Dylan place the woman was 20 minutes late and constantly interrupting because she was answering her cell phone or making calls. AND I am personally leaning more with the SV (small...ville) one the more that I think about it, since a lot of people are bringing up good points about it both on this post and among my family. MAYBE DYLAN PLACE WILL BE NEXT YEAR.

Yeah, so going for #2. Definitely has much more bang for your buck than #1.
