I think my Christmas cards are going to be late.

On the plus side, I got accepted into my course.

The dentist didn't cause me enough pain today. I thought that he'd drain the abscess or whatever it was they did in Berlin that involved needles and tape and returning there in two days, but no. He just prescribed me some penicillin and cleaned my teeth (which look superb now, actually). I'm still in pain, so it will be more paracetamol ( Read more... )

Well, it wasn't terrible. I do think I could have done a lot better, but oh well. They asked me pretty standard questions that I probably should have prepared answers for (Interviews 101) and I probably rushed into some answers (ditto) but overall, it was okaaay. The Athenaeum is a beautiful venue - old and gorgeous and three-tiered like a wedding cake. (Or like most old-school concert halls, I suppose.) It wasn't very big, but still not quite as intimate as the Northcote. Nevertheless, Patty was excellent yet again ( Read more... )
