My dad died this morning.  I'll post more later.  I thank all of you for your prayers over the last few weeks and for your continued prayers for us now.

Good Shepherd UMC is planning a work trip to Japan this fall to help with the clean-up from last year's earthquake and tsunami.  One person from the team has just had to back out, so there is an opening.  The trip will be sometime in August or (probably) September.  There is some fundraising going on around this, but you would still have to pay ( Read more... )
