I hate communication blackouts. I understand why they have them, but it's still a pain in the ass. Just letting you know i'm okay, despite the news painting a grim picture.

One thing i forgot to mention about internet in Iraq is that they tend to impose communications blackouts at the drop of a hat, for whatever reason. Shutting down the internet, locking up (literally) the phone center, etc. etc. until they decide to lift it. So it's been frustrating for the last few days.
