Oh dear. I...seem to have been press-ganged into a crew of pirates. This is a predicament. Whatever shall I do? La, I do believe I feel faint~!

Yes, I think so. For the moment, in any case. Apparently they needed a shipwright and are not above using forcible means to acquire one.

Rescue...? I don't expect so, I wouldn't dream of putting people out in such a manner, when I got into this situation on my own. However, I may be able to extract myself, given a little time. The next island, perhaps. The fact that we're at sea makes it slightly difficult to slip away.

They are rather unpleasant, yes. Fortunately, I think my skills as a shipwright that they value will prevent them from inflicting much bodily harm. Nor am I entirely defenseless, hah.
