I think Jack said his first official word today. I mean, he does say "da-da," but he says it in reference to everything, and I am not sure if "uh-oh" is really a word. I got a new cell phone, so for anyone that might be trying to get ahold of me, it is the same number that I had before.

I wonder why I have such a hard time arguing with people. Not just in the case of a heated argument, but even a discussion where I might disagree with someone. Maybe it is that I don't think I have enough of a knowledge base on many subjects to be sure of my point in an argument. One of the effects of cutting down on TV has been that I am listening to the radio a lot more. Unfortunately, there are NO good radio stations in Miami. Well, there is one Christian one that is pretty cool, but it is a lot harder than my taste. Anyway, I mostly listen to the mainstream Christian station. Jack took his first step today!!! It was just one step, from a chair to me. He has often made a sort of lunging step, where he would step and reach the desired object at the same time, but this was the first time he picked up a foot and came toward something without hanging on to something else!
