"relatively content" just about sums it up. I'm survivng out in Colorado, but pine for warmer weather, familiar surroundings, and my cirles of entertaining and supportive friends. Chances are I will not graduate, but (for better or for worse) that dosnt scare me as I'm sure I'm going to survive no matter what happens. Word on the street is that a degree means nothing in my field, anyway. Not having a car limits my oppertunities for adventure, but I do what I can to entertain myself.

Living without any meaningful social contact for months at a time (for the second time in my life), had again changed my views on happiness and the strenght of my ability to maintain an emotional status quo. No matter where the future lands me in respect to my physical location, and/or finacial sucess, I am confident that I will be "relatively content" when all is said and done.

That's good to hear. what is your "field"? i think most professions require a degree whether or not it really means a whole lot. unless your goal in life is to be a postman. which would be fine. i'm not judging....

Creative writing. I'm studying the field of writing for film, but I'd be just as content working in more standard forms of literature (i.e. books).

I'm learning as much as I can while I'm there, but every single one of my teachers has to through great pains to point out that no one will ever ask to see your diploma when you submit a script, manuscript, or story.

I'm doing great. I love chapman and the work I'm doing up there. My lovelife is better than ever. I'm hoping to get a kayak in the near future which will rock my socks in a massive way... and and and.. I dunno, thats about it. I saw Rita Rudner do standup last night which was amazing. The only thing I was really bummed about recently was the fact that alot of people dont have the same spring break as Chapman does, but oh well, I shouldve expected as much since Chapman had winter break up until like the last week of January. How are you doing btw?

I'm doing really well. i've realized i'm absolutely insane. but i'm more of myself than i ever have been. and i love school and new york. i'm actually not looking forward to summer except for the fact that i won't have so much work. i'm glad to hear you're doing well. yeah chapman is always on a weird schedule. i had spring break two weeks ago and most of my friends back east had it three weeks ago.

I'm finally growing up. Odd that you should post this now, 'cause I had a major revelation tonight. As odd as it sounds, no matter how many times I was told, I didn't care that people thought I was dramatic. But I kinda hit a wall today. I'm probably not going to stop today or the next day, but, more than ever, I just want to cool off. And not be catty, and not be dramatic, and overall just be a really likable, even admirable person. I don't know why I'm telling you this, especially over LJ, but yeah. Life is iffy now. But I think it's going to get really good really soon. PS- I really miss our friendship.

people don't change over night. but it's your life and you can do what you want with it. i think i've changed a lot and i couldn't be more in love with myself. (as if that's something new though)
