Aug 28, 2007 19:38
Okay, so I just handed up a proposal that brought the IT budget to just a hair under $300,000.

Hardware, software licenses, and support contracts. No end-user systems, no contract extensions, and no bandwidth/datacenter costs.

$299,985 -- CK's salary.
$15 -- Duct tape.
I'm guessing your budget is based on having Nice Things that Work Right, instead of cutting corners that shouldn't really even be considered corners (considering they're structural... like retaining walls).

Apparently I need to take the same Bullshitting Upper Management class that CK signed up for at The Learning Annex.
(I have to pay twice that for duct tape.)

Well, to be fair, even my screwdrivers are cheaper than yours.
(Bladewise, do you mean server or networking?)
