I didn't drive all weekend and considered working from home this morning. There were three accidents on my eight miles into work this morning plus a few times when I thought I would be the fourth. Thankfully I was up early to hit the post office for last minute mailings so there weren't too many people on the road yet

Portland is shut down with the six inches of frozen rain / snow mixture. They've closed the office and I forgot my laptop there. Guess I'm not working from home..

My aunt in Peoria said she stepped out of her house, got the dog, turned around and the door had frozen shut. Had to beat on it to break it loose so she could get back inside and not freeze to death. You people up there are all crazies. I'll take my hurricanes any day.
