OH MY GOD! YOU HAVE REVEALED STUFF ABOUT THE MARRIAGE OF MYSTERY (TM)!!!!

I have become so involved with your story that when it became apparent Arthur was really about to spill this time I actually had to stop reading for a moment and collect myself. Gwen is alive! But still there is mystery... What on earth happened to her?!!

This is my favourite chapter yet - at the start of it I wanted to knock Merlin and Arthur's heads together, then came the Big Revelation wherein I nearly fell off my chair with excitement, then Morgana is pregnant, then SO MANY wonderful and sweet little Alex moments and the beautiful and poignant scene at the end. The only bad thing I can think of is that there are only 2 chapters left :(

It was better actually! My theories revolved around a) Gwen being dead for various tragic reasons, or b) Uther pushing them apart somehow so Gwen left Arthur. But none of those fit all the clues and the fact that Arthur obviously still cared for her and that I couldn't imagine Gwen willingly having no contact with her child.

But I was very happy to have all my theories be wrong because I love being surprised (plus I really am hopeless at guessing things), and your fic keeps throwing up wonderful surprises and keeping me guessing. So I think I had lots of fun theorising, but if i'd turned out to be right I would have been a bit disappointed :)

Hehe, yeah, figuring out a scenario that fit all the clues wasn't easy, this was the closest most plausible thing I came up with..glad it worked for you XD.

Oh, my god, we finally meet Gwen!

I am so excited for the next chapter, but at the same time I'm so terrified of this story ending. I really, really look forward to it.

I feel simultaneously terrible for Merlin and Gwen. If Gwen's dead, then Merlin can start helping Arthur heal, but if she's alive, it just makes things that much more painful for Merlin. But Gwen, oh Gwen. Poor girl. :(

Poor Gwen, but POOR MERLIN! Arthur still loves his wife too much!!!(I can understand why, but...) Can he really love Merlin? I don't know!:(
If I were Merlin.. I'd run away!(I'm selfish, I know!)
