"The U.S. Supreme Court justices refused to reinstate a Florida law that was passed to keep Terry Schiavo alive Monday.

The Florida Supreme Court struck down the law, known as Terri's Law, last fall after Governor Jeb Bush lobbied to keep it alive. Bush said the ruling violated the state constitution and appealed to have it reinstated.
