I would make sure that she has a puppy Kong. It is a tad softer rubber than the adult Kongs. You can fill them with treats or peanut butter. That should keep her occupied for a period of time.

What catcvt said! Also, knotted rope chew toys and hard rubber bones helped us save our furniture.
