I got up at 5am today. Anyone who knows me can probably take a pretty good stab at my mood right now. what the heck is wrong with me? and why didn't i kill Gir?

Sagira has been up three nights this week, knocking things off my bureau if I don't pet her. The lack of sleep sucks, but while she's curled up on my chest purring like crazy, there's a part of me that says "Well, at least I'm loved."

I hear ya. I like that part too, but he actually woke me on (one of many times this morning) by licking my eyelid. There is NOTHING loving about that :P

There is a name for kitty licking. It is called "Lum-Lum". :)

"Ooh! Human skin!" lum lum lum lum lum...

Ferrets do it too, but I think they're just softening up the skin for a bite.

It makes me laugh that you use the same words... for the rats I call it "lumma-lumma's." Ferrets are always just getting ready to vampire you, because that's what the weezels do. But Gir actually spent all day today being a velcro kitty. Really annoying.
