I was a big fan of the original Team Fortress mod for Quake and this new version just looks very cool!

I was a bit disappointed with how short HL: Episode 1 was but I will definitely be getting Ep2 so I can get TF2.

It feels good ... a little scarey but good to finally have a house.

The closing was an interesting experience. With the cash back incentive, my downpayment, credits, and escrow ... I ended up only paying about $5800 at closing for my $150k townhome.

Now for the moving and ALOT of shopping.

My closing is this friday, the 14th. So many things to do. I'm very excited.

One bitch of a thing I have run into... 
So I called Comcast to have cable TV and Highspeed installed on saturday .. they look up the address and tell me:

After a great 4 days at GenCon, I have been rather busy. I started my new job at BestBuy as a PC Technician on the 17th. It's not a bad gig for a parttime job, but it looks like this week I will be working full time hours. Just finished my 3rd interview with BestBuy and got offered a part-time PC Technician job starting at $9.93/hour. A little more then I expected which is nice. :) Tomorrow morning I have to go fill a cup for my drug testing. Then I have to wait for the background check to finish. Just 5 more days to GenCon. It is the last year that GenCon will be in Milwaukee. Next year it will be in Indianapolis.

I will be at GenCon all 4 days. If you are going to be there, I will be working the booth for Hogshead Press most of everyday. Hogshead revived the "Warhammer Fantasy Role Play" rpg.
