Did you know that the final episodes of Pushing Daisies already aired elsewhere in the world? Well I didn't. I'm going to blame my ignorance on ABC, who shelved the final three episodes until the summer, and worse, on a Saturday. I didn't even know the show was coming back until I saw a picture of Lee Pace in the corner of the TV Listings in the ( Read more... )

Good to know I'm not the only one who missed this. As a US viewer, I get spoiled to think that shows must air here first (except for British shows, obvs).

It's lame, I know. I never got the chance to see it, but I intend to catch them online at some point. Have hope! My Name is Earl was canceled but it's being shopped around, and Family Guy was canceled too and look what happened with that. It could happen :P

PS I'm glad you're writing again ^^

Glad you enjoy my wisdom, Fox. You really should be watching it, like yesterday. I know the history of shows brought back from the dead. Beyond Family Guy, there's Firefly in film form (Serenity), Buffy and Angel in comic form, Arrested Development (movie), Scrubs, Medium, possibly Earl. But Pushing Daisies in any form other than TV just won't do. Comics couldn't do the series justice. The whole package with music, tone, pacing, cinematography, acting... just wouldn't translate for me.

Stupid ABC and their stupid lack of post-strike advertising. Honestly, they really dropped the ball.
