These ridiculous rubber bracelets have hit the streets of Bangkok. The girl sitting in my cube at work is wearing one now. There's people selling them on all the sidewalks...but at like 5 to 10 times the price of America

i know man, aren't fads supposed to be rediculous? lately they've just been boring. the whole point is that it's supposed to give people an excuse to be blatently retarded and not be considered to be an idiot by other idiots as long as it's done within the correct times.

hmmm - The most recent fad I've noticed is a boots and short skirts thing. These girls wander around campus in big fuzzy boots, sometimes with socks (sometimes with leg warmers - I get a kick out of that) and very very short skirts or shorts. It's one of the oddest fashion things ever; they look ridiculous, and they can't be warm in winter, or cool in summer.

I think that you should become a designer - create the fads. Get enough people to shave their heads and wear undies on them - it will catch on. Heck, I'll help - I'd love to see how ridiculous I could make the masses look...it'll be a social experiment.

I'll bet we could get a grant! :)
