I'm curious.

What sort of fairy tales do you have back in your original worlds?

Fairy tales are a fuzzy idea when you live in a world defined by the fantastic.

Not exactly the answer I was looking for, but that will do, I suppose.

Sometimes the answers you get are more interesting than the question you asked.

That would depend on what I think is interesting.

The usual kind~ The mermaid turns to seafoam, the princess dies, and the children cook and eat the witch.

You enjoy unhappy endings?

I don't feel one way or another, they just end that way.

Not all of them do.

You know the sort - made up stories to teach children morals.

Well, uh...there's the story of the Dragon Balls, though that one actually turned out to be true.

Is that so.

Yeah. The story talked about seven mystical balls that, when they were all gathered, summoned the Eternal Dragon from the Earth's core. The Eternal Dragon then would grant the person who gathered the balls any wish he wanted.

But like I said, it turned out to be real! The Dragon Balls have been used a bunch of times already.

That sounds more like a prophecy than a fairy tale. Usually such a story would include a warning of someone already having used them, and the consequences for it.

Well, plenty! Though the only one I recall at the moment is the one that became true.

And you?

That's twice I've heard of that.

As for me... I've taken my time to memorize the classics.

Oh? Haha, not too surprising! Fairy tales were based on truth, I would suppose!

But what, per se, are the classics?

Perhaps.

One such example... The Red Shoes.
