Search Engine Optimization is far from an exact science. There's a certian amount of planning and there's a certian amount of finger crossing that goes into every SEO project.

Today I discovered that one of my clients is now on the first page of search results for a very general search term on Google, MSN, and Yahoo.

Go me.

Wow!!! That's so impressive!!! What's the search term... I want to google and get your website! Woot!!

The boy I'm dating (yep, we need to talk) has an older sister who makes a killing doing web design. She's 30-something and apparently gives good advice. Not the "how to do your job" type, but the "apply here & these jobs pay best, etc" type. If you're interested, maybe I could hook up your e-mails...
