Hi! I'm still alive. Finished the Summer semester. It was intense, and I learned a lot, and I'm really glad that 1/2 time get-everything-in-as-soon-as-you-can is over. I've slept little these past 7 weeks. But I have lots of new work to share, once I have caught up with sleep and all those million-and-one things I didn't get done whilst away. I'm such a dork...
I just sewed for about 2 1/2 hours and my Burning Man costume is nearly finished! I made my own pattern, just fit it loosely to my body. It looks awesome so far!
What am I going to be? A jellyfish, of course! This years BM theme is "Evolution".

I've named Laura's doves, as well as her boyfriends' bird, as his has joined hers whilst he is in Spain. Their names are Soup, Casserole, and Roast. Soup was nearly Catfood when a kitty swiped at it and scratched his neck.
