I was just looking at the pics I have of the Horn of Gondor on my work computer and dontcha just love the "I see what you did there" moments when you're trying to reproduce someone else's work?

Happiness is realizing that I just bought the tools I will need to make the Horn of Gondor actually authentic, and that they're shipping today.

So, even though I am a FIrefly/Buffy/Dr. Horrible fan, I had completely forgotten Mr. Whedon's tendency to kill off recurring characters.
This article reminded me of that grisly heartrending fact, so I only have this plea:  please don't kill Thor.   Chris Hemsworth is too pretty to die.
