Tomorrow's the day! My sinus surgery! Also my 33rd birthday. This is going to be the worst birthday ever! Matt & I just got home from grocery shopping in a BIG way. I'm trying to complete a costume for the upcoming "geek fest" Norwescon (on Easter weekend), and since I didn't feel too bad today, I decided to sew a little. I got in touch with my ENT today and we talked about when my surgery would be scheduled. Since she'd JUST got the records from my previous sinus surgery (2/00), we could schedule the time at the hospital. Went downtown today to just try to get out of the house! Went to Nordstrom's for lunch and found some great deals for comfy sweaters. Picked up some makeup for Norwescon. Tonigt was my last night at JoAnn Fabrics until I get my surgery and heal. The lights, the stress, and the noise is just horrible with what I have to deal with right now. So, I went to the ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor, for you laymen), and she said that I definitely need sinus surgery, but it's not IMMEDIATE, which means I can wait the standard 3 weeks to get a surgery appt. Unfotunately, we have Norwescon on Easter weekend and that's in 1 month from now, so I told the Doctor that I'd prefer to have the surgery ( Read more... )

I went to go get a CT scan of my sinuses on Wednesday. Today I go to see the ENT surgeon, who has the results. I know I'm going to have the surgery again, and hopefully it will be soon. My head's been hurting BAD! At least today is cloudy so that the sun won't precipitate anymore pain. Off to the doc!
