i know my dad doesnt really like my major choice too much, but you go to school for you in the end. thats the way to do things

i think it fair to say that i can relate with you. like you said, i just really like knowing stuff about physics. but dude, studying glaciers IS important. it is not ...set in stone... that the ice ages are over. there were always a few respites from glaciations a while back, lasting a couple thousand years or so (if i remember my prehistory correctly. i probably don't). if you guys could predict another uber-glaciation, i think that would be pretty handy to people. at least, people in a thousand years or so. it'd be good to give them a heads-up.

We are a rare breed of inellectual misfits indeed, my physaaaaacked friend. Glad I've got you to cover my zone of accumulation. No worries, you do remember your prehistory correctly, but I'll let you know a'fore any glacier beasties come rollin in to ablate your ass, and my ass ... the world's collective ass.

Give me fair warning before matter stops working and we'll call it even. Oh, and watch out for that magnetism fellow, too. He's been getting a bit shifty lately.
