St. Padraig's was not celebrated at a drinking establishment this year, unlike some other years in the past. Rather, we stayed home, I donned my new kilt and Doc Martens, drank copious quantities of Bailey's Irish Cream, and had a screening of Boondock Saints with the wifey after the kiddos went to bed. So I got into a car accident yesterday. Some woman in a Honda CR-V was stopped at a light, and I hit the brakes just a little too late. More than a little too late, I suppose. So I picked up a kilt at Hot Topic the other day. Of course, considering the source, it is by no means a traditional piece of garb, but it's Irish enough, with a bit of punk thrown in for good measure.
