I know I never posted this, but in July my oldest and dearest cat, Eule, was hit and killed right out on the main road passing by our house. It happened about 5 or 10 minutes before I got home, because everything was still... fresh

She's improved tremendously! And she's become ninja-kitty! Attacking my feet when I come down into the kitchen in the morning. She's fitting in nicely.
I was very unhappy about Eule. Took me a long time to get over her. She had quite a character, but I guess that's what endeared her to me... and she was my oldest... *sigh*
The difference between the first picture and the last is like two kitties. Goes to show what love and good care can do. Congratulations on your new family member.
*hugs* I'm sorry about Eule. Losing a pet is hard, but when it is a surprise that makes it worse.

I keep thinking whether I could have prevented if, if only I'd been on my way home a few minutes earlier... *sigh*

I know that they all will leave me at some point, but when it happens so suddenly, it hurts all the more.

Well, it had to be fate that I'd get lost *exactly* there. And had to take care of nature just at that spot.
It was meant to be.
If my feet survive, then she'll grow up to be a lovely cat, I think. :)
