One goes, the other comes...

I know I never posted this, but in July my oldest and dearest cat, Eule, was hit and killed right out on the main road passing by our house. It happened about 5 or 10 minutes before I got home, because everything was still... fresh ( Read more... )

Awww. It's nice when the street sends one to you instead of the other way around.

She looks so much better, even in such a short amount of time. I'm sure your love is going to make her very healthy and happy.

I'm sorry that you lost a precious member of your family. *huggles*

She's improved tremendously! And she's become ninja-kitty! Attacking my feet when I come down into the kitchen in the morning. She's fitting in nicely.

I was very unhappy about Eule. Took me a long time to get over her. She had quite a character, but I guess that's what endeared her to me... and she was my oldest... *sigh*

Thank you. *HUG*

The difference between the first picture and the last is like two kitties. Goes to show what love and good care can do. Congratulations on your new family member.

*hugs* I'm sorry about Eule. Losing a pet is hard, but when it is a surprise that makes it worse.

Yes, it really is. She's very active now, comes to attack my feet in the morning, and is learning to snuggle.

I keep thinking whether I could have prevented if, if only I'd been on my way home a few minutes earlier... *sigh*

I never forget them. It just gets a bit easier with time.

Thank you. *HUG*

She sounds wonderful.

*hugs you tight* It wasn't your fault nor was there anything you could have done.

I'm sorry about your kitty, dear. But ooh, the new one is adorable! Cloud will be over shortly to squee and play with her. :)

Cloud: "YAY!"

It was hard. It took me quite some time to recover from that. They never completely leave my heart, just the pain gets a bit less...

The little one is soooo cute! Oh, Cloud will *love* her! She does nothing but play all day! ^^

I'm so sorry you lost Eule.

You're a good person and Emmily-Joy is a lucky kitty.

It was hard. She was very close to my heart. Not that I don't love them all, but she was special.

I know that they all will leave me at some point, but when it happens so suddenly, it hurts all the more.

*sigh*

Well, it had to be fate that I'd get lost *exactly* there. And had to take care of nature just at that spot.

It was meant to be.

If my feet survive, then she'll grow up to be a lovely cat, I think. :)
