I think it might be good for you to go talk to someone. As a psychologist, you understand the need to explore your feelings and attempt to make some sense of them. Once you get going with work and have some time and money, you should think about going someplace here in town. I know some great therapists around here.
THE HOUSE. YES. We're going. Today. Get ready, I'm skipping my last final of my SJC career and coming over.
It's not that I really need therapy, just more that I need to organize thoughts and emotions and turn them into words so I can get them OUT. I need starters, like, "So, tell me about your childhood" or something.
Every time I look for the house it looks like it isn't there because of the trees, which is weird because before the leaves grew in you could see it so clearly.
I see you guys coming down for a visit, staying at my place, and us taking a covert walk to the house in the middle of the night, because it's in walking distance now. I see us walking up the driveway, saying hi to the indians, crossing over the property line and not hearing a single night sound. I see us breaking into the house, trying to avoid the booby traps the son has set, and then it goes fuzzy.....
