Surprise, surprise I completely forgot about writing in this thing. I'm just awful at keeping up with diaries. Apart from this one, I had one when I was five and the extent of that insightful journal was "Mummy made cookies. They were good." and that was about it. Real food what an amazing turn of events. That was very nice of Professor Dumbledore's brother to cook for us. I appreciated it very much so! I'm glad I decided to head down to the Great Hall. I almost didn't. I do hope this is the end of those wretched beans.

I bumped into Terry in the common room. We talked for a while about hose elves and how the boys dormitory smells (which I'm still positive that it must). Oh! And I got to mail my letter to home.
