Tooth woes...
So, phase one of my happy double root canal is complete. The actual root canal on the front tooth is finished but the back one's nerve was too inflamed to do it today. Thus I have to return in about two weeks to get the permanent crown put on the former and have the root canal on the latter, which is currently filled with anesthetics that will ( Read more... ) -
Relocation
Well, we're officially in the "new" house now. Three-fourths of it is covered in boxes, but we're in it. There have been some adventures in getting everything up and running, but more on that when I'm not quite so tired ( Read more... ) -

The moving is still going down next weekend. Mis padres decided to hire movers, though, so we don't need any help. Unless somebodies want to come over to help arrange furniture after they leave ( Read more... ) -
A New Favourite Author, and other ramblings.
I had Thursday and Friday off this week and decided to take advantage of the alone time to catch up on some movies that no one else in the house particularly wanted to see. I rented The Number 23, which was okay, and A Scanner Darkly, which I loved. I had not realized that it was based on a novel by Philip K. Dick, who also wrote "Do Androids ( Read more... ) -

I bought some of the new Star Wars Pocket Model cards from WizKids a while back and finally had a chance to play with Spudboy earlier. It's like the Pirates game that they put out, only without the range restrictions, which makes it a lot easier to play with kids. It just keeps getting better...
So, my truck has been out of commission for a week or so. She's had a leak in the radiator for a while, which I stayed on top of until I could get something done, but when we took it in to the shop they said there was oil in the coolant. This apparently indicates a cracked head gasket at least and a cracked cylinder at worst. The shop in town ( Read more... ) -
