Dad called this morning, he got news about Bob and his family around 6 AM. They're alive, refugees in Florida somewhere - from what I gathered, they're not even sure where they are, just in Florida. As far as they know, they've lost everything - but at least they're alive. I'll probably get the whole story at some point, but for now this is enough ( Read more... ) -

Finally heard from family in Laurel, MS yesterday. Phones are still out, but the cellphone decided to work for awhile yesterday. I wasn't too worried about them, at least as far as their immediate survival. Laurel didn't flood; they got 140mph wind, when they were expecting 65-70mph.
