also, here in NY, you can easily find bartenders with master's degrees from exceptional schools. it's just so easy to get sucked into the money. and once you start that nocturnal life, you meet nocturnal people, and it's a fucking vicious cycle. get out while you can.

i waited tables through college and my master's. i feel your pain. when someone bitches you out and you're thinking, "wait, didn't i put up with 4 years of school bullshit so i don't HAVE to get you another drink??"

i graduated in may.

i've applied to over 2000 jobs since.

everything from mcdonalds (cringe) to dogwalking to my own field...basically anything i can qualify for. i've gone to about 100 interviews...

i'm still unemployed 5 months later.
