The Montgomery County Fair.

I’m really surprised on how much the local county fair cost. Aren’t the count fair supposed to be a reasonable cost for entertainment.

Our local fair is $5 for admission, but you can see all of the exhibits and fair items for free. The food is a little less as you are buying it from local associations (American Legion BBQ.... yum...)

The best thing in my opinion were the "Home Arts" section where you got to see the pies and stuff that won blue ribbons. It was what a county fair should be.

It was the 8th through the 11th of this month. We went last year, but didn't make it this year as my parents were here.

It was kinda cute. We did see the biggest pumpkin and corn, and the local talent show.

But I can put on my own fair at the house and charge admission.... hmmmm... Blake does need some money in his college fund.... and I make a good pie..... Come One Come All to the Lake Bay Local Fair. See the Panther Cat. Eat in MaMa's kitchen with mounds of meat.... Sit in an authentic "rocking chair" on the "back porch".... Yes, admission only $5 per person....

Franklin's Fall Festival is October 5th and 6th. There is a huge block party on Friday with fireworks, and Saturday has stuff. It was cancelled last year due to the flooding, so this year should be cool. I have no idea what it entails, but I think admission is free.
